I can’t believe I missed posting this session on my blog, it was a great session with such a GREAT family!! These are some of my good friends and their extended family- celebrating their mom and dads 50th wedding anniversary. The weather was perfect- the backdrops were awesome– and the kids, grandparents and parents were rockin on! Thanks for coming everyone– Happy Anniversary Marty and Betty, you have an awesome family!
This was a fun session to shoot as it was not just one family, but 5 families all grouped together to make 1 very large family, 25 very well behaved, well almost all were behaving themselves. okay who made off with my chicken hat? I think it is great that the Redings took the time to document their summer get together. They finished the evening with an awesome bonfire on a hot summer night!
The weather here in rural South Dakota finally cooperated for a brief time to squeeze in a last minute senior shoot. Some long awaited sunshine and warmer temperatures brought the ladies out in full force. Well, maybe a tiny bit weather related, but I would bet they were checking out the good looking dude I was taking photos of. How many times can several car loads of girls drive around the same block, whistling and snapping photos with their cell phones? A lot. Hate to break it to you dad but you are going to have to spring for a new set of tires on that school car. Deion and I had fun checking out some cool spots in Miller, SD. We took a break and had a great burger at Turtle Creek Saloon while we waited for the golden hour, my favorite time to shoot. We got some great shots and some of my favorites are in his National Guard uniform. Thanks Deion for your service and thanks for being such a great nephew and GQ Model…NAILED IT!
It is obvious that this is a great looking family. Not only do they look great anyone that knows them will tell you they are Good People! I want to thank the boys for working with me even though I cut their day of hunting short. Rachel thank you for being my assistant and helping with the reflector and flash and of course putting up with my dorky sense of humor!
